David turned professional in 1989 and in his 34 years as a professional he has achieved considerable success in the game as both a tournament player and coach. As a player he competed all over the world and was a member of the European Challenge Tour as well contesting events on satellite circuits in Britain, winning several tournaments and pro-ams over the years.
In 2006 David was awarded Advanced PGA status in recognition of his achievements. Currently within the membership of the PGA there are only 173 Professionals to have been acknowledged as showing a high degree of expertise in their chosen fields within golf and recognised as Advanced Professionals, out of a total number more than 7,500 in the Europe.
As a coach he has helped players of all abilities and many of his students have won major honours on the international stage. He has spent the past twenty years studying and training with some of the most fa¬mous and respected teachers and players in the world of golf including David Leadbetter, Denis Pugh, Pete Cowan, Gary Pike and Karl Morris.
David is also a Qualified Course Architect having taken the European Institute of Golf Course Architects Professional Diploma Course, graduating with distinction in 2002.
David still likes to compete in regional and national tournaments, and in 2023 won the SkyCaddie regional final, securing a place in the grand final in Italy in October. This year he hopes to qualify for the Seniors Open at Carnoustie in July, and will also inviting Sherborne members to join him for a number of Pro-Am golf Tournaments this summer around the Southwest Region.
His coaching philosophy is simple, no two pupils are the same and no one swing fits all. Every golfer is unique, with their own strengths, weaknesses, and goals. He takes a personalised approach to each lesson, tailoring his coaching to a pupils individual needs and abilities.

Tony turned professional in 1998 and qualified through the PGA of GB&I as an honours graduate in 2002, attaining the level of Distinction and achieving 7th position in the final Trainee of the Year Order of Merit.During the first 10-15 years since qualifying, Tony pursued a career in both playing and coaching. A career which has taken him across continental Europe and Asia as an academy coach whilst competing regularly, and later on as Head Professional at some of the regions' premier golfing destinations.

Wes began his career on the shop floor of a food manufacturing facility, where he gained invaluable hands-on experience that would serve as a solid foundation for his future roles. Following his tenure in food manufacturing, Wes transitioned to a pivotal role as an Operations Manager at a local fertilizer blending facility. In January 2022, Wes returned to Sherborne, embracing the opportunity to serve as the Golf Operations Manager with his sights set on becoming a Club Professional. In July 2024, Wes took the plunge and turned professional. Wes has embarked on his new career as a golf pro, studying for his foundation degree in Professional Golf Studies in conjunction with the PGA and Birmingham University.
